Absolutely fantastic location and a house where every need is catered for. The view over the sea is both mesmerising and relaxing - a true "ressourcement". After a while we started to measure time by the tides rather than the clock. What's even more amazing is that we have almost had teh beach to our selves all week.

Recommend the riding as Le Buzard - our children had never ridden before but we were all able to do the lovely trek over the marshes bythe harbour of St Germain - really spectacular.

Food has been really good and our youngest (6) has acquired a taste for moules. All our boys loved the palce and want to come back in the future.

Thank you for letting such a beautiful house in such a special location.

I think the word for this house & holiday is our 2 year old Jake's favourite word FANTASTIC!!!

Love the views through both nice large windows.

Location is great for young children (& big kids!)

Fantastic location - to hear the sea every morning was wonderful. A very convienent base for our needs - golf,beach,sea,walks etc.

Golf de Fontenay - good basic links golf but very limited facilities at the club house, Golf Omaha Beach - 1st class (45 minutes away).

A lovely welcome to find fresh flowers on arrival.

We've had a fascinating 2 weeks here - so much to do and see - we could have done with a month!

The house has been very comfortable and well equiped - we have catered for 11 over the time here without a problem, (friends from as far as Tokyo & Korea staying with us).

Would strongly recommend the day trip we did yesterday as follows - Point de Hoc, American Cemetery, lunch at Port-en-bessin, Arromanches 360 degree cinema.

Also local museum is excellent and a tour round Ste Marie du Mont reading the info signs is fascinating (including the church).

Would love to come back and do the things we have run out of time for!

It was a great surprise to find that the house, it's facilities and surrounding area far exceeded the description on the internet site.

It has been a truly memorable break, enjoyed by all - especially the children.
